Bridal
I am available for weddings whether it is just the bride or the whole bridal party. You can choose whether to have your bridal hair created in the unique environment that is The Floating Salon or at the venue of your choice.
If you were to choose The Floating Salon the bride will receive a complimentary hair cut during the initial consultation and also a bottle of bubbly to kick start the celebrations on your special day. If the weather is fine you can sit out on the back deck and watch the world go by while you are waiting for your appointment. The whole bridal party will receive a warm, friendly and relaxed service during their time here.
This whole experience on board The Floating Salon will be something special and unique to add to your already perfect day.
You might choose to stay at home or at the venue on the morning of the wedding in which case I would simply bring the salon to you. I would come and set up at your home or hotel at a pre determined time. It is part of the service to make sure that once you are in your bridal gown that your hair is still in perfect conditon and I can then attach any veils or tiaras etc for you and your bridesmaids ready for photographs.
In both cases I would need to see you a month or so before the wedding to have a full consultation about how you would like your hair to be. During this time we will talk about the style of your dress, colour scheme, whether you have any hair pieces, flowers, tiaras, veils etc, and have a few hours of coming up with ideas and then trying them out so you can see what it will look like. This also gives me an idea of what type of thing you are looking for and how long it will take for me to do on the day of your wedding. It enables me to give you the time I will need to start your hair. It would be beneficial to have all of the wedding party present if possible, especially the bridesmaids so I know how much time to allow per person. I know this is not always possible so a rough idea of they would like would be fine.
